June 9 (Bloomberg) -- Walt Disney Co.’s ABC sold about $2.4 billion in advertising ahead of the television season that starts in September, said a person with knowledge of the matter. Average prices for prime-time ads rose 8 percent to 9 percent, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the figures aren’t public. ABC sold 75 percent to 80 percent of its inventory, the person said.
