Acer Aspire One Review | Netbooks | CNET UK
Acer says the Aspire One is not a laptop. It might look and smell like one, but the company has gone to great lengths to promote the message that the One is an 'Internet device'. Others, such as Intel, refer to it as a netbook -- a new category of device spawned by the Asus Eee PC 701 . You, friends, can call it what you want. We'll stick with mini laptop. Despite its lateness to the party, the One has pretty much everything it takes to be a market leader. It's attractive and lightweight. It offers solid performance and it's easy to use. Most importantly, however, is its price: the entry-level One costs ... market research, surveys and trends

A community united
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the residents who sent in their comments to the Ministry of Environment regarding Waste Management's proposal to expand the Carp Road Landfill. I had hoped to garner support at the council table with my concerns and issues and am disappointed with what transpired at council recently. However, I will continue to work on behalf of my community and Ottawa as a whole as it pertains to landfills. I am also hoping to arrange an interview with the Honourable John Gerretsen, the Minister of Environment, to address my concerns in person. The community stood up against an expansion ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Preview
Once at the top of the smartphone pack, Microsoft’s current mobile operating system, Windows Mobile, has quickly fallen from grace. Luckily the juggernaut in Redmond, WA decided finally to do something about that. You call it whatever you’d like — a restart, a do over — but Microsoft has entirely changed course with Windows Phone 7, and they have broke most everything in the process. That means old Windows Mobile applications won’t work, the entire OS has been redone, and practically nothing from the user’s perspective has been carried over. A good thing when you’re now playing in a ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
