More than 2,000 votes were cast to select the top University of Central Florida stories from the 2000s, a remarkable “Decade of Opportunity” for the university. Bringing football on campus with the 2007 opening of Bright House Networks Stadium placed third on the list. After years of playing miles away from campus in downtown Orlando’s Citrus Bowl, the Knights made their on-campus debut at the 45,000-seat stadium on Sept. 15, 2007, against the University of Texas, a football powerhouse. An enthusiastic sell-out crowd watched the Knights put up a good fight against the Longhorns in the first game at Bright House Networks Stadium ... market research, surveys and trends

Australian Space Agency not based on NASA. - PerthNorg - People ...
Australia used to send up satellites from Woomera. There was even talk of building a launch station on Xmas island in collaboration with the Russians. Unfortunately both of these enterprises are now dead. A pity. We were quick off the starting blocks but gave up too early. Working with the Russians on Xmas island would have been beneficial to both countries. Russian engineers are among the best in the world. They put the first man in orbit and are used to operating on a shoestring budget. But I'd be happy for Australia to team up with anybody except those idiotic yanks. NASA is an international joke. The best example there ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Turnpike to consider advertisements on toll plazas
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority plans to explore corporate sponsorships at rest areas and toll plaza advertising, among other proposals, to generate transportation revenue. The authority is in the process of developing a request for proposals from contractors, said Joe Orlando, spokesman for the authority, which operates the turnpike and Garden State Parkway. "It's to look at what we have, what the values are and what's the best way to proceed," he said. The first step, he said, is hiring a firm that will look at the authority's rest areas and do a cost-benefit analysis of advertising proposals. The idea of ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

what is the best way to go about aquiring corporate sponsorships ...
The number one thing you need to be doing is letting the corporate world KNOW that you're looking for sponsors. You can do this in a number of different ways (listing Corporate Sponsorship opportunities on your website, direct mail or postcard promotions, sending out targeted press kits with appeals for sponsorship, etc.) but you have to have that information OUT there for people to find. Second, you've got to make it worth their while. Answer that all important question you KNOW they're asking: What's in it for me? Will you mention their sponsorship on all of your radio or television ads? Will their logo ...
