Dean Paul Martin

dean paul martin special research report Photo by
Dean "Dino" Paul Martin responds very strongly to the emotional tone and atmosphere around him, and can be dominated by his fluctuating and unpredictable moods. Martin often appears irrational to others because he cannot always explain the reason or source of his feelings. Anyone who lives with Dean "Dino" Paul Martin must accept his ups and downs and appreciate Dino's need for times of withdrawal. Dean "Dino" Paul Martin is also very sympathetic and understands the unspoken feelings and needs of others. Dean "Dino" Paul Martin takes slights and rebuffs very personally and though ...

Making the Team
One of my favorite current shows (and not eligible for the blog, considering its third season begins airing in mid-June) is the TNT network show Leverage .  It concerns a quirky group of con artists and thieves, each with their own special talents,  brought together into a team who, in the course of their adventures, end up forming into something of a family, albeit an occasionally dysfunctional one.  Executive Producer Dean Devlin ( Independence Day , Stargate ) has created a terrific production, with a group of writers and performers who really work well together to create a fun, adventurous, and wonderfully watchable show. ... market research, surveys and trends

The son of Paul Joseph Martin, who served as a minister in four Liberal governments, the younger Martin studied law at the University of Toronto and was called to the bar in 1966. From 1993 to 2002 Martin, a member of the Liberal Party , served as minister of finance in Prime Minister Jean Chrétien 's government. Marginal Revolution: Today's music model: meet the 1950s
Someone teleported through time from the early 1950s to 2009 would find a music business curiously similar to the landscape of 60 years ago.  Few specialty record outlets.  Department stores dominating the market.  A singles-driven industry.  Pop music dominating radio.  TV musical talent shows all the rage. That's from the 21 December issue of Variety .  One difference, of course, is that the best-selling album of this decade -- but not the 1950s -- was by The Beatles . Devils lose Martin; sign Tallinder, Volchenkov, Hedberg
The Devils' twin signings on defense of Henrik Tallinder and Anton Volchenkov, and of backup goalie Johan Hedberg, leaves them scant room to re-sign Ilya Kovalchuk, although Lou Lamoriello says he's still pitching "until there's no chance." The Devils lost their top defenseman, Paul Martin, to Pittsburgh but landed significant replacements: Buffalo's Tallinder and Ottawa's Volchenkov. "Our defense today is better than it was yesterday," Lamoriello said. "And we're not through. We will still look to improve our defense." By landing Tallinder, reportedly for four years at ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Paul Martin — Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
Under Martin's leadership, research and educational programs in materials science and engineering, in computer science and engineering, and in the atmospheric and environmental sciences have reached new levels, and Harvard's historic commitment to engineering were renewed. The growth of undergraduate interest in engineering and applied science and the increasing importance of these disciplines in the Faculty were reflected in the FAS Academic Plan in 1992, which called for significant additions of faculty and facilities.
