Nothing can be farther away from the truth.
The bitter reality is that if an affiliate program is free, then most likely thousands of people will want to sign up to promote it.
Since thousands of people are promoting it, competition will be stiff and so the likelihood of getting rich from it will be slim because there will be more people promoting it than people who wish to buy it.
When supply is greater than demand, profitability will nose dive.

per share (EPS) from continuing operations of $.15 compared with $.15
in the second quarter last year. In the second quarter of 2007,
special items (detailed below) reduced EPS by $.14 per share.
Excluding the effect of these items, EPS from continuing operations
was $.29 in the second quarter last year. There were no special items

DAVENPORT, Iowa (Jan. 20, 2009) — Lee Enterprises, Incorporated
(NYSE: LEE), reported today that preliminary diluted earnings
per common share from continuing operations were 15 cents for
its first fiscal quarter ended Dec. 28, 2008, compared with 48
cents a year ago. Excluding unusual items (1) , earnings were 21 cents per share, compared
with 48 cents a year ago. The preliminary amounts do not include the possible impact

I have come across several thousand units of discontinued natural cosmetic products being offered at below wholesale prices. Additional info: 1) Has to be bought as one lot of 90,000 units - no extension of credit. 2) No website with product description or company information - just a list of product names. 3) Product being offered at given prices for only two weeks. 4) Product is located in Germany.
