Column: Do you trust 'Villaquino'? « Newsstand
Published on March 2, 2010. As it turned out, core support for Manny Villar proved to be much weaker than I thought. And Erap himself turned out to be ”the Erap of 2010.” The January 2010 Pulse Asia survey tells me the fates of Senators Manny Villar and Noynoy Aquino are intertwined. Of the 10 presidential candidates, only the two of them have majority trust ratings. Randy David has already written about the meaning of this survey, or at least the trust ratings part of it (this is also the survey which found the two leading candidates in a statistical tie). But a poll is a snapshot of public opinion at a certain ... market research, surveys and trends
Column on Two Insidious Trends in America | Bastiat Institute
The former is an effort at the highest levels of American education, at institutions such as Harvard University and the University of Chicago, for example, to help establish a regime or political system that has as its firm and unrelenting goal to make all people equal in the benefits and burdens they enjoy and shoulder in their lives--economic, educational, medical, psychological, etc.  The clarion call of this movement is to demand government mandated fairness for everyone. The latter, pragmatism, is also being promulgated at some of the most prominent and prestigious institutions of higher education.  This is a broad ... market research, surveys and trends

Search terms - what does the Impressions column count? Exact ...
If I have broad match, does impressions relate to (say) 30 impressions of the ad because that exact search term was used 30 times? Or is it 30 impressions of that ad because some unknown broad match term was used? search term = search query typed into a search box keyword = keyword (of varying match type) in an ad group's keyword list If you have 30 impressions for a search term triggered by a broad match, it's possible that it was different keywords that resulted in the impressions.  You can always enter that search term as an exact match (in square brackets) if you want to track that search query in your account.
