The pixel is the smallest addressable screen element; it is the smallest unit of picture that can be controlled. Each pixel has its own address. The address of a pixel corresponds to its coordinates. Pixels are normally arranged in a 2-dimensional grid, and are often represented using dots or squares. Each pixel is a sample of an original image; more samples typically provide more accurate ...

Guide to Pixel Advertising - DIRECT TV GUIDE
It seems like Alex Tew, the 21 year old that came up with the concept of MDH (MillionDollarHomepage.com) and pixel advertising, really created more then just a way to make a quick buck for himself. He struck a cord and maybe even fulfilled a desperate need. A quick review of the Internet today reveals hundreds of sites that have mostly duplicated his site with some variations. Some of the sites use custom built scripts that allow the users to select the pixel on an interactive grid, some are allowing animated gifs and others are just clones. I tried explaining this to a friend in the business and he had a problem understanding ... market research, surveys and trends

Survey: Apple iPad Generates Greater Pre-Launch Demand Than iPhone ...
The interest in the ipad will increase even more if, in the next generation: add a still and video camera for chat; add phone - must have service anyway it seems. they must already have these and are saving them for announcements in the future but it is a shame to have to wait. I'm not surprised by this. Lots of people already had phones before the iPhone and didn't really know why they needed a smart one until later on. But nobody has a sexy touch tablet yet and 95% of all sci-fi movies have already explained why you want one. ICKLER: Battles Back For 13th At Iowa Speedway
Brian Ickler may not have had the racetruck to beat in Sunday's Lucas Oil 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Iowa Speedway in Newton. But he had arguably the next-best through most of the first half of the race. That's when it went all for naught as the 24-year-old from San Diego, driving in his third Truck Series event in the No. 18 Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) and the 14th of his career, got turned from behind on a restart just past the halfway point in today's 205-lap race, fell two laps off the pace, and used the rest of the day to battle his way back onto the lead lap and settle ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
If the whole world wrote a story, would it be worth reading?
Marko Sekardi, a 23 year-old economics grad from Slovenia, has a goal: he wants to make a million dollars. It’s a goal that is no doubt shared by many 23 year-olds. Unlike many 23 year-olds however, Sekardi has no intention of working at a job in order to earn that money. Instead, he has built a website which he calls a “homepage” and is hoping to sell enough ads on this site to reach his goal so that he can fund his love of traveling. Sekardi’s plan sounds simplistic and perhaps a bit naïve. If it were that easy to build a site that could attract a million dollars of advertising, we’d all be doing it. market trends, news research and surveys resources

Yahoo Search Marketing Editor
Isn't it about time yahoo offered us their version of the adwords editor. It's a great tool for us who don't have the programming skills to make and API. They've had plenty of time to go through adwords editor so give it up! I have talked with a few engineers and VPs about this tool... DEMANDING they make one for advertisers. it would be an easy tool that would ultimately help ramp up spend since more advertisters can quickly pump in keywords. I believe they are working on something hopefully we can test it by end of Q3 I got an email from Lori Love Vice President of Customer Solutions Yahoo! Search Marketing ...
Is it excessive to be working in 600 dpi for doing cartoon art in ...
I'm a cartoonist, and I've been drawing cartoons for quite some time using a mix of digital and traditional mediums. Basically, I draw my artwork on paper, then scan it in and color it with Photoshop. As time has progressed, I've bought better and better scanners, and faster and faster computers, and as a result I've steadily increased the DPI at which I both scan and color at. I now always scan my toons at 600 dpi, and do all my coloring in un-resized 600 dpi files in Photoshop, too. My question is, is this excessive? I've never really known a lot about the technological side of what I do, but lately ...
