Today, artfully crafted pieces of music which sing the praises of a stations "call letters" are an accepted part of most radio formats. These jingles are heard throughout the world, but there are only a small number of companies responsible for making them. Most of the work is done in Dallas, ...

Cadillac And The Mark of Leadership | The Truth About Cars
Cadillac’s new ad campaign, with the tag line “The Mark of Leadership”, has received mixed reviews. Some have questioned the use of the word “mark” because it may evoke a model name long used by luxury competitor Lincoln. The New York Times > New York Region > Jingle All the Time
San Diego, boosting ratings but leaving some listeners wondering how many more times they would have to listen to "Jingle Bells." The trend is all Christmas music, all the time. All right, not all the time, just the time between Thanksgiving and Dec. 25. Not one but two Manhattan stations, WLTW-FM and WPLJ-FM, have adopted all-Christmas formats this year. Stealing a slogan, then, is irresistible: You give them 22 minutes, and they'll play Nat King Cole's "Christmas Song" and "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Jingle Bell Rock."
