What is "agile creative"? Sounds like agency speak, doesn't it? Imaginative-sounding but empty words meant as a selling tool? It probably brings to mind an image of an agency exec, selling his big, traditional ad agency to some helpless sap of a CEO. You can almost hear it now, the schmoozing, the selling, the undermining of the incumbent ad agency. Well, that's not what agile creative is about. Agile creative ...

After the boom — Garth Turner – Commentaries
Twelve years ago I wrote a book forecasting Canada would have a retirement crisis by the year 2015, which was its title. It was for Boomers, like me. After all, we comprise more than a third of the Canadian population and our exit from the work force will constitute the greatest wave of retirees ever. It won’t be graceful. Among other things, I predicted the public pension system would be overwhelmed; the real estate market would be swamped with desperate sellers driving prices lower; and the economy would take a hit since there wouldn’t be enough workers to support us old geezers – who, thanks to medical technology ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

FICCI Brand Summit: Invest in rural markets, don't milk them
Suhel Seth, chairman, FICCI committee on advertising and marketing laid it bare in a pithy manner: "If you treat the rural market as a fishing pond, where you just throw a line and reel in income, then you are bound to fail. However, if you treat it as a dam, which is going to increase the irrigation cycle and regulate it and also provide employment directly or indirectly to the villages, then you may make it there." Arundhuti Roy may not agree about the virtues of the riverine dam, but Seth's logic about accessing the rural markets are based on sound marketing logic. The recently concluded FICCI Brand Summit in ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

For the past several months, the following question has come my way on an almost daily basis: “What are you going to do now that Lost is over?” Usually, this inquiry is accompanied by a look of grave concern in the eyes of the inquirer, as if they’re beholding a man who has lost his reason for living and should be kept far away from razor blades. Please! Don’t be fooled by my frazzled hair and emaciated frame and the fact that I burst into tears anytime anyone even mentions the word Lost . I’m fine! Really! I AM GOING TO BE OKAY! Okay? If you would organise a Conference for young professionals on ...
I just recently came back from a national conference in Washington, DC. There were about 1,000 attendees who ranged in ages from early 20s to 50s. Amanda Gore was the opening and closing motivational speaker. She was highly energetic, enthusiastic, funny, and very motivating! During the presentations she had everyone participate with simple, interactive activities and even tossed out freebies to the crowd. Which when leaving, the attendees were happy and motivated. She was great and I would highly recommend her! posted 4 months ago Interim CEO, C-Level Strategies, Business Futurist, 30-yr Track Record, Keynotes, Seminars, ...
