A funny thing happened on the way to finishing my annual article on legal technology trends this year. All of a sudden, the issue of an economic downturn and the use of the R-word (recession) became big news in the US and for plunging world stock markets. IABC and Ithaca College Announce Distance Learning Courses
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) today announced a partnership with the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College in New York, to offer a new series of continuing education courses for communication professionals. Intel , Nokia and Finland's University of Oulu announced today that they are developing a joint research center to create software for 3D and virtual reality experiences for use on mobile devices. The software will be developed by about 24 engineers in Oulu using the open-source MeeGo operating system, which was launched in February by Intel and Nokia.
