Collaborators can share this dynamic Web version of a traditional paper laboratory notebook. Each notebook page provides a data file, an image, or a live Java-based graphical summary of the data in the file. Information in the notebook could also come via automatic updates from EMSL's on-line instruments. Each researcher can easily add text, picture, and file annotations to complete the notebook. This help page was designed to cover the most common areas our users might need assistance with. If you don't find what you're looking for, we've also prepared a General FAQ, Movie Examples, SAM Server Release Notes, ...
The choice of naming conventions can be an enormously controversial issue, with partisans of each holding theirs to be the best and others to be inferior. Colloquially, this is said to be a matter of "religion". Many companies have also established their own set of conventions to best meet their interests.
REVIEWS AND OPINIONS
write it down, write it down
I wrote about electronic lab notebooks, and pointed out how much better they've made my record-keeping. My new job also uses an electronic platform, to my relief, and if anything it's better implemented than the one I was using before. It's clear to me, that software lab notebooks are the only way to go. Drawing the structures, setting up duplicate or related experiments, attaching all the data files from LC/MS and NMR, the ease of retrieval for patent filing purposes, the ability to search structures across a whole organization's experience - there's no substitute. (One thing they don't handle ... market research, surveys and trends
Biocurious: SciBarCamp report: Digital lab notebooks
is going on this weekend at Hart House at the University of Toronto. The basic idea of SciBarCamp is that of “a gathering of scientists, artists, and technologists for a weekend of talks and discussions.” The kinds of things that have been discussed this weekend are the forefront of science (quantum gravity, synthetic biology, open access, scientific software), and the interactions with science and technology and art. There’s an extremely interesting mix of people here today, from quantum information theorists from the Perimeter Institute to social scientists from OCAD , grad students, science writers, ... market research, surveys and trends

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Who is better Eminem or Jay z? - Yahoo! Answers
Like i've said many times. Jay Z has told the same lie over and over until it's practically brainwashed the world into thinking he's like the illest ish out their. Dudes tracks all sound alike, he can rap no doubt but he's certainly not one of the best. He ha absolutely no emotion in his songs which just easily plucks him out of the list of the greatest. I mean one reason why Tupac is well remembered is because he had that raw emotion in his music that touched people, Jay Z is a mass corporation who only lives to make money. He's a business man and a damn good one at that. Eminem ...
