Area church hosts Hill Country Thunder
Happy Hill Church has spent the month of June sending children, youth and adult sponsors to summer church camp east of Stilwell. More than 200 individuals from Happy Hill have spent time at the camp this year. Happy Hill held its annual Hill Country Thunder Independence Day celebration on June 30. It was a community wide event, open for everyone. Happy Hill Church has declared July 4th as a family holiday for the congregation. There will be no services on Happy Hill July 4th. This is a great year of patriotism and family unity, so the church has dismissed services giving family time for everyone.
