The closing of the Kaufman ISD because of a possible swine flu [H1N1] case has affected other parts of the city as well. The Kaufman Chamber of Commerce canceled its spaghetti supper and candidate’s forum that was scheduled for Tuesday night. According to Chamber President and CEO Anne Glasscock, the decision was made in conjunction with the event’s main sponsor, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman. “We’d hate to be the place where somebody else got infected,” Glasscock said.
