Should etailers think about designing apps or special versions of their websites for the iPad, or will the existing websites do the job?  Whether these sites need to adapt for the iPad or produce apps is debatable at the moment, since the number of users of the device is still small, but it may be something they will have to think about in future. The Customer Is Always Right: Applying Customer Service On E ...
A significant number of users still choose ordering over the shop to shopping online through e-commerce websites. Usually, this is for one reason: conservative consumers still feel safe shopping at a retail outlet because they walk out with the item which they came to the retail outlet for, unlike when buying in e-commerce sites where they are made to wait for the product to be delivered without the assurance of this ever happening, right after they gave their credit card information and completed the purchase. For this reason, customer feedback is needed to tie loose ends and provide some assurance. One example of how consumer ... market research, surveys and trends

A nationwide survey found that China had more than 1,100 consumer related e-commerce websites by the end of the first quarter this year. Though China's e-retailing sales volume totaled 55 million yuan last year, accounting for merely 0.018 per thousand of the country 's total retail sales, the survey predicted a 500 percent growth this year. The two main challenges that e-commerce websites face when working on SEO are selecting the right keywords that will bring qualified traffic (potential customers, as opposed to people just looking for information) and optimizing large amounts of product descriptions for those keywords without ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

The business model spells-out how a company makes money by specifying where it is positioned in the value chain. Some models are quite simple. A company produces a good or service and sells it to customers. If all goes well, the revenues from sales exceed the cost ...

Adwords PPC for E-Commerce Websites
If you sell widgets on your e-commerce store and would like to bid for the keyword 'widgets' (and all the variations of the keyword ofcourse), is it a good idea to put the word 'buy' or 'shop' in front of every single keyword, which would triple the amount of keywords in the database? I haven't check on actual stats yet but if you think about it, the word 'buy' or 'shop' in the keyword phrase should increase the CTR and conversions for that ad since you are a webstore selling the widgets. I looked through our search term database for the last couple of years. "Buy" appeared ...
