i have spent approximately 40 hours online seeking out aba approved paralegal online degree programs.  i am no closer to an answer than when i first began.  there are obviously a tremendous amount of "junk" certificate programs out there, as well as a few that are legitimate, but am getting frustrated in the process of sorting.  several of the schools listed on the aba website have a close "twin" when searching thru the listing of online schools, so i am not sure if they are one and the same.  i really hate the idea of emailing all of them since it will open the door to a slew of junk mail.
