Frisco's longest serving mayor, Harold Bacchus, dies at age 84 ...

Bacchus served as mayor from 1966 to 1978 when Frisco was still a small farming community. (The city's population in 1980 was 3,499.) Roach, who is a member of the board of trustees for Collin College said the Texas Legislator is asking for the college to identify where 10 percent of its budget can be cut in the upcoming 2010-11 biennium because of the state�s uncertain economy and projected shortfall. �It�s going to be a tough year,� Roach said.
