The numbers back him up. Marijuana is California’s biggest cash crop, generating sales estimated at $14 billion a year. Thanks to the state’s increasingly liberal medical marijuana laws, more of that money than ever before is being spent legally. Which leaves sellers with new challenges: Taxes. Invoices. Supply chain management. Regulatory compliance. Financial News Express: Economic Crisis News January 18, 2010
"The immediate aftermath of a financial crisis can involve a period of deceptive calmness when it comes to financing the public sector. Even though balance sheets balloon as both governments and central banks go on a check-writing spree to offset private sector deleveraging, there is seemingly little market reaction. Interest rates on government debt remain well behaved, and abundant funds can be mobilized to cover the rapidly expanding public sector borrowing requirements." The strong undercurrent that has been predominant in news and thoughts for some time now is the growing awareness that we have passed a point of ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Tensions seem to be rising on the US/Mexico border. What would you ...
I don't think the President of Mexico coming into the White House and criticizing Arizona is helpful towards addressing these issues. Both governments need to have a mutual respect for one another and need to lay off the Arizonans (or whatever they call themselves) for taking matters into their own hands. The problem on the Mexican side is that they are allowing out of control violence and general trouble to spill over into the U.S. side and this is intolerable. I think the Mexican government should step up enforcement of their own laws, and the U.S. government should step up the border patrol. The U.S. government should ...
