Bethel Burgeons Under Pastor's Visions of Prosperity - Urban ...
Growing up the son of a fourth-generation pastor, Bill Johnson never imagined he'd someday be the driving force behind a north state megachurch and economic powerhouse. Established as a small Assemblies of God Church in Redding 50 years ago, Bethel Church has become a household name in this north state community in a little more than a decade since Johnson became pastor. The church, much more than a house of worship, reaches out to an estimated 3,000 congregants, brings in millions in revenue to the community with its conferences and schools, and has more than 30,000 people tuning in to its new online media business venture. market research, surveys and trends

ShastaYama: Festival at the foot of Mt. Shasta
The cultural phenomenon of Taiko – Japanese drumming – found its way to Mount Shasta 25 years ago when taiko pioneers and musicians Russel Baba and Jeanne Mercer founded Shasta Taiko. Their program has had a direct impact on the development of American taiko and their ShastaYama Festival, launched in 2005, has drawn some of taiko’s biggest stars to perform at the base of Mt. Shasta. This year’s 6th Annual ShastaYama Festival, scheduled for Saturday evening, July 31, will again present the spectacle of Japanese drumming, dance and music.  Last year’s event attracted 1,200 concert-goers, who ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
Mary Stegall was wrong
the other day Carl Bott asked her for advice she'd give to any of the council candidates. Have passion for the job, she said. Assemble a strong campaign committee and raise lots of money, she added, saying a big war chest all but guarantees a strong finish at the polls. A glaring exception to that "rule" she either spaced on or chose to ignore - Mayor Patrick Jones, who's run shoestring campaigns. Stegall, I believe, holds the record for $$$ spent to procure a council seat. Something north of 60 grand in '06, including sizeable checks from prominent Redding lawyers and developers. Jones told me this ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Google Answers: Where should I consider moving to in Washington ...
Where should I consider moving to in Washington, Oregon or California? I was born in Seattle, Washington and have lived here most of my life. I like most aspects of it except the lack of sunshine and warmth, and I would like to live in a smaller town or a rural setting near a medium-sized town. What I don?t like about Seattle: Rains too much, too many cloudy days Quiet serenity is miles away High overall stress-level lifestyle People are not outgoing; sorta cool, reserved, not as open to strangers as some places Expensive real estate Hard to be a big fish in a big pond (very competitive environment) Traffic ...
Wheres the best place to fish for trout in northern California ...
me and my dad want to go have a good time catchin trout. where should i go from bakersfeild to the border af california? THANKS!! Starting in Bakersfield I would go to the Kern River without a doubt. Lots of good trout fishing above Lake Isabella on the river and the streams that feed it. I've spent lots of time up there and never been disappointed. Fun area to go and explore with places to fish with easy and more difficult access. The best trout fishing I have experienced in Calif. is on the Sacramento River between the town of Anderson and into the city limits of Redding. It is a wild trout area so there are ...
