Although there is not an express reference to a right to privacy in the Irish Constitution, the Supreme Court has ruled an individual may invoke the personal rights provision in Article 40.3.1 to establish an implied right to privacy. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
how to lift the restriction for inviting people? what is doesnt ...
My guess is you've invited people without knowing their email address, indicating you're a friend or a colleague etc. And, at least 5 of those people have indicated that they don't know you. You need to contact LinkedIn customer service (through the customer service link at the bottom, left side of the page) and indicate you understand you're not to invite people you don't know and will abide by the rules, and they'll remove the restriction. Each time you accumulate 5 "I don't know this person" replies, the restriction will be added back on. Regards, Liz duToit posted April 28, 2009 LinkedIn ...

This would of course be a nice situation, but statistics from ...
