Wrong Side of the Fence

There have been a few entertaining exchanges of late between "The Daily Show's" Jon Stewart and Fox News contributor Bernie Goldberg, but there was something the conservative media critic said last night that seemed especially noteworthy. It started when Goldberg and other Fox News personalities started over-generalizing about what liberals think, after having complained about the way liberals over-generalize. It prompted Stewart to tell Fox News, "Go f*ck yourselves." This wasn't well received at Fox News HQ, and led to a discussion between Goldberg and Bill O'Reilly. Goldberg conceded that ...
respectively. Räikkönen's 2003 and 2005 seasons were plagued by severe unreliability from his McLaren car, resulting in many pundits speculating that without the problems, he would have already been World Champion. Switching to Ferrari in 2007, Räikkönen became the highest paid driver in motor sport with an estimated wage of $51 million per year, 4 in part because the previous highest paid driver, Michael Schumacher , had retired. In turn his move to Ferrari saw him secure his first Formula One World Drivers' Championship, beating McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso by one point, as well as becoming one ...
FSU Editorial: "Inflation; Good, Bad or Great" by Sol Palha 07/09/2007
Many would simply characterise inflation as a very evil force; hardly would think of quoting it as good and almost no one would think of calling it great. However lets stop here for a second and just examine the above statement. In a round about manner is that not reflective of the way most individuals think when they enter the markets; almost all of them think they will win; very few think they will lose some money and even less think that they could potentially lose it all. In reality most have lost it all at some point in time and generally speaking the majority fall ... market research, surveys and trends

Wrong Side of the Fence | Mother Jones
Nobody wants to make a martyr of Roberta Blackgoat, a puckish, silver-haired Navajo elder in failing health. But the law's the law. The law says Blackgoat has until February 1 to leave her house, her land, her spiritual bedrock. Despite the deadline, Blackgoat says she can never leave. It's what she's been saying since 1974, when Congress effectively revoked her right to live on Big Mountain, a remote patch of high desert her ancestors called home before the arrival of the conquistadors. As a traditional Navajo, or Diné, Blackgoat believes her people were placed here by a higher authority, and that this is ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Fact Sheet #24: Israel's Security Fence
Israel did not want to build a fence, and resisted doing so for more than 35 years. If anyone is to blame for the construction, it is Hamas , Islamic Jihad , and the other Palestinian terrorists . Now a large majority of Israelis support the construction of the security fence; in fact, both Jews and Arabs living along the Green Line favor the barrier to prevent penetration by thieves and vandals as well as terrorists. The fence has also caused a revolution in the daily life of some Israeli Arab towns because it has brought quiet, which has ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Paw prints: Say what you like - Kudu will always be top dog in my eyes
dog may be lovable… but it’s none too bright”, this newspaper recently reported the results of research into the problem-solving abilities of domestic dogs and wild Australian dingoes. Dr Bradley Smith, a psychologist at the University of South Australia, subjected a group of dingoes to what is known as the “detour test”. This involves placing food at the intersection point of a V-shaped transparent fence; the subject of the experiment is then shown the food from the wrong side of the fence, and has to work out how to get it. The dingoes very quickly (in 20 seconds on average) ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
Documentary Explores Mormon Role in Calif. Gay-Marriage Fight
A newly released film argues that the Mormon Church breached the church-state barrier in its campaign last year to pass Proposition 8, a California referendum to ban same-sex marriage, the Los Angeles Times says. Directed by Reed Cowan, a journalist and gay man who was raised Mormon, the documentary "8: The Mormon Proposition" contends that the nonprofit church encouraged members to donate to the Prop. 8 campaign but under-reported the amount of contributions. The California ban, approved by state voters, is the subject of a federal lawsuit in which a judge heard closing arguments last week. 'Good Fences Make Good Neighbors' | Iowa NRCS
When Robert Frost wrote Good fences make good neighbors in his 1914 poem Mending Wall, he was referring to neighbors respecting each others property. The line from that nearly century-old poem certainly rings true for Polk County cattlemen Mike Sweeney and John Olmstead. But these Mitchellville neighbors are not only respecting each others property, they are sharing each others property. In 2004, Sweeney signed an Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) contract through the U.S. Department of Agriculture to install a multi-paddock rotational grazing system on his 70-acre pasture. He needed a way for ... technology research, surveys study and trend statistics
Fencing Materials For Livestock Systems - Virginia Cooperative ...
Good fencing protects and confines valuable livestock by presenting barriers to restrict animal movement. Barriers may be physical, psychological, or a combination of both. Physical barriers consist of enough materials of sufficient strength to prevent or discourage animals from going over, under, or through the fence. Psychological barriers depend upon inflicting pain to discourage animals from challenging a physical barrier of inferior strength. Traditional livestock fencing materials have included barbed, woven, mesh, and electrified wire, and combinations of these materials. Board fences have also been popular. These ...

Did a 301 redirect of my old site to the new one but Webmaster ...
I have recently changed the platform of my site from to php, and created a 301 redirect in the .htaccess file for all the inner pages to the same page (copied) and verified the 301 redirect. For some odd reason Google Webmaster tools is indicating that the pages are 404, i.e. Google is indicating as  404 (Not found), but it clearly redirects properly to a similar page as before once you click on it. Its really frustrating, I have been doing SEO for the past year and it seems everything you do (even following Googles advise) its still not right. I ...
Will my invisible fence work with a Siberian Husky puppy? - Yahoo ...
My husband and I are going to be getting a siberian husky puppy this coming spring. I have an acre lawn with an invisible fence in my backyard. I have had it for years without a single dog ever escaping or attempting to escape. I have read that huskies are escape artists and I have heard that some people have success with the invisible fence while others didn't. Most people that I have read about have gotten the husky as an adult, since my husband and I are getting it as a puppy will we have a better chance at success? We plan on getting our husky obidience training after it is a few months old, just to ensure that ...
