Big Body Dossiers: Citizenship & the Charter of Incorporation - Part I
Neither the claims of ownership nor those of control can stand against the paramount interests of the community .. It remains only for the claims of the community to be put forward with clarity and force. -A. A. Berle & G. C. Means, The Modem Corporation and Private Property , 1933 PREFACE Corporations cause harm every day. Why do their harms go unchecked? How can they dictate what we produce, how we work, what we eat, drink and breathe? How did a self-governing people let this come to pass? Corporations were not supposed to reign in the United States. The Nebraska Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) began tracking the potato industry in 1866, a year before statehood. Then, acreage was 5,000; yield was 36 cwt/acre (cwt = hundredweight = 100 lb), and the crop value was $500,000. The late 19th Century saw the advent of the Mechanical Revolution, the first modern agricultural milestone. Acreage steadily increased, reaching a plateau of around 100,000 acres in 1907 (Figure 1) that lasted to 1935. Potato production during this period was directly related to increased acreage. There was no change in yield, which remained at about 50 cwt/a (Figure 2). Dr. Harvey Werner: In 1910, ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Unless your event expect illegal aliens to attend in great numbers, I don't know why you would think selection would be affected. posted 1 month ago Well, aside from your politics, if you don't look 100% white, do you really want to go there now? The new law allows law enforcement officials to stop and demand "papers" from anyone who looks like he or she could be from another country. And that determination is entirely discretionary. I see it as a HUGE problem for Arizona's travel and meetings industry. Why book a conference in a state where attendees could be harassed when in every other state in the country, ...
