Nonprofit Law: State of Incorporation/Exemption Status, nonprofit ...

Is there any reason why we cannot continue to operate in this manner? We kept our Good Standing in NM and have a registered agent and office there but may be closing it in the near future. Do we need a physical address to remain incorporated in NM. I believe that we cannot just change the state of incorporation and that our exempt status will not transfer to a new corporation.
