Denying fair treatment to an individual simply means that a person is not being given the treatment that they are entitled to. A popular example is discrimination, however there are also things such as biased decisions and cheating people that fit the bill for this phrase. I work in a deli that is open from 7-9pm. We have a morning crew that usually works 4am-12 or 7-2. I usually work the closing shifts due to my school schedule. My boss has this new thing were us closers have to initial next to her list of closing duties for the purpose of council. She says don't initial if you didn't do it 100%, but also everything needs to be done and initialed. The purpose is so when she comes in the next morning she can see who did what the night before and also who is to blame if something isn't perfect. I have no problem with this.
