Federal bill sends $75.6M to Delaware
Delaware will be getting an additional $75.6 million in federal assistance this year, thanks to a bill that cleared the U.S. House and was signed into law by President Barack Obama on Tuesday. The federal legislation, aimed at keeping state budgets afloat and preventing teacher layoffs, provides $26 billion to be divided among the states, including $10 billion that is earmarked for education.
