Miami accountant Lewis Freeman gets 8 years for fraud
One time prominent Miami accountant Lewis Freeman was sentenced to more than eight years in prison on Friday for stealing $2.6 million from the victims of fraud and bankruptcy, whom he was entrusted to protect. Freeman, 61, was also ordered by U.S. District Judge Paul Huck to serve an additional 21 months of house arrest after his release from prison.
