Why would you run A/R or A/P on a cash basis???? A cash basis would only pick up payments and would not show up any open invoices or unpaid bills. Accrual basis shows all A/R, less any payments received leaving the balance of unpaid invoices - and that is what you are looking for isn't it? Why would you run this on a cash basis? Same for A/P. Accrual will show all bills entered, less those that have been paid leaving a balance of unpaid bills. Mary I think bruceno is running a cash basis balance sheet.
