Some 26 years ago my mother, Ann Brennan, mailed out a survey that invited recipients to “prioritize” their objectives for a soon-to-be-formed provincial writers’ organization. One of the survey respondents was Alden Nowlan. Earlier this month, OFN released the Second Quarter 2009 CDFI Market Conditions Report, a quarterly publication based on surveys of more than 100 CDFIs. Funded by the Ford Foundation, the CDFI Market Conditions Report is an important tool for CDFIs, bankers, funders, investors, and policy makers, as they work together to understand the impacts of tight credit markets and the economic downturn.
