Carnival of Personal Finance #252: Famous People With Tax Troubles ...
won’t tolerate anything less! And no one I know wants trouble with the IRS. With the US tax deadline is this week, I thought I’d highlight some high profile people with tax problems in the past with one of their more memorable quotes. Enjoy the carnival! Parents Should Teach Kids Finances, Not Just Schools from Frugal Dad. We tend to abdicate that responsibility to teachers and schools, but the best place for kids to learn about personal finance is from their parents. Schools can give them some “book learning” (as we say in the South), but kids need much more. They need parents who will set examples and can help their children ... market research, surveys and trends

Carnival Of Personal Finance #249: Who's Awesomest? Pirates Vs ...
?  I spend the large majority of my free time contemplating just that, and you know you do too.  Well, today we will settle that age-old question once and for all! Which randomly-picked-by-me-and-broadly-stereotyped-group is awesomest? But first, let us examine the best of the best.  And, since I couldn’t figure out how to work them into the theme of the Carnival in an awesome-enough way, we’ll leave them outside the fray. Is Billionaire the New Millionaire? | The Amateur Financier
It seems that everywhere I look, it’s not enough to be a plain old millionaire anymore.  The Financial Samurai asked earlier this week if becoming a millionaire was now the rule , rather than the exception, Evan of My Journey to Millions has to argue that one million is still a pretty healthy amount of cash , and to get Forbes to acknowledge you as one of the one thousand richest people on the planet, you need a net worth in excess of one billion dollars .  Speaking of Forbes, they get a prominent mention in the new song ‘ Billionaire ‘, which starts with the singer declaring “I wanna be a billionaire, so ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Morris Admissions Blog
One final down. Two radio shows to go. Then I'm home! I'm excited to be going home but I know I'm really going to miss my friends, UMM, and Morris. However, this summer promises to be adventure. First, some college friends and I are going camping in Gooseberry Falls State Park for week to check out the waterfalls, explore Duluth, hiking, and enjoying the companies of great friends. Then I get about a week free of obligations to train dogs, go kayaking, hang with high school friends, and start some new art projects. Then I start my internship in Swift County as a 4-H Summer Intern Assistant. From what my employers ...

$500 to spoil myself. What should I get/do? | Ask MetaFilter
I just received a birthday check for $500. I'm about to graduate from college after a rough couple of years, so I'm really looking to reward myself and splurge on something I wouldn't normally consider. Some more information about me: 24 year old female, Art History major, NYC resident. Interests include contemporary art, music of all kinds, Apple computers and gadgetry, television. I'm considering spending it on updating my wardrobe for my ongoing job search and (hopeful) eventual employment. If I were a guy I would probably buy a suit or nice dress shoes--is there a comparable item for a women's ...
Anyone using Ninja Trader? - Yahoo! Answers
I'm considering using Ninja Trader with IB. Any experiance? Looking primarily at the ATM functions, especially breakeven stops & incremental increases in stops (not trailing stops).
