... market research, surveys and trends

My Malaysia Stockfolio-From RM10,000 to RM100,000: Euro Rises ...
European stocks rose modestly and the euro halted its decline Thursday, a day after the International Monetary Fund promised to increase the 45 billion-euro aid package for Greece to as much as 120 billion euros over three years to quell the fund’s biggest crisis since the Asian woes of 1997. The fund is racing to conclude an agreement for more painful austerity measures from Greece by Monday, clearing the way for the government to receive funding and reassuring investors worldwide that European debt is safe. On Wednesday, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the I.M.F.’s forceful managing director, made the higher aid pledge in ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
My Malaysia Stockfolio-From RM10,000 to RM100,000: InsiderAsia's ...
SHARE prices on Bursa Malaysia rose in the holiday-shortened week. However, broader market conditions were more mixed and trading volume stayed thin despite the end of the Chinese New Year holidays. Investors are evidently more cautious due to lingering external uncertainties, mixed economic data and increasing volatility on Wall Street. Over the week, the FBM KLCI added 13.1 points or 1% to end at 1,270.8 points. Trading volume averaged less than 700 million shares daily, except for Thursday's 867 million shares. The week got off to a good start. Stock markets in Asia, including Malaysia, traded higher last Monday as ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Takeover battle for Parkway pits two different cultures
With a wealth of some US$3bil shared with his brother Malvinder Mohan Singh, the Singh brothers from India are widely known for their swagger as much as their insatiable appetite for deals and penchant to rattle the operational status quo in the companies theyve gobbled up. So, even a tamed imagination should be able to figure out what could have possibly led to the simmering tension between Fortis controlling shareholders Malav and Shivi Singh (as they are commonly known) and Malaysias relatively subdued Khazanah Nasional Bhd since the formers emergence as a major shareholder in Singapore-listed Parkway Holdings Ltd divergent market trends, news research and surveys resources

Trustees' News
As many of you know, Head of School Todd Bland moved with his family to Milton Academy early in the summer and has been busy at work since July 1. We are happy to welcome the Bland family, and we look forward to working with Todd, and the School community, on furthering Milton’s longstanding educational mission.   To prepare for the year ahead, the board has worked with Todd to develop a charge that describes the scope of his responsibilities. That charge is drawn largely from the Search Committee’s Position Statement, which compiled the community’s views about the head of school’s role. Integrated into the list are timely ...

Cloud Computing is an emerging model in which users gain access to their applications from anywhere through Internet-connected devices. A simplified user interface makes the infrastructure supporting the applications transparent to users. posted July 15, 2008 Keep your eye on video (no pun intended). It is the convergence of both sociological and technical trends. For 500 years text has been dominant. That is changing very quickly. The superiority of video as an information communications medium is already unspokenly apparent to most. But up a site with the same information in text and video and see which is more readily ...
What do you guys think of .ASIA TLD
Considering there have been some 45,697 names with more than one application, a quick calcuation suggests that, at this rate of non-progress, there is maybe another 457 weeks to go...nearly 9 years! Are they serious?   4:23 am on Mar 20, 2008 (utc 0) here's my prediction: (just a guess cause no one has really given a clear answer) - I think the auction will start next week after open registration; this way people's interest to domains may lead to people bidding higher and .Asia will make the most out of it. what I'm frustrated about is that they called it pre-registration!   2:27 pm on Mar 20, 2008 (utc 0)
