According to a June 11-13 USA Today/Gallup Poll, 60 percent of Americans favor "additional government spending to create jobs and stimulate the economy." Only 38 percent of the respondents opposed the proposal, while 2 ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Mark Twain’s cat, having sat upon a hot stove lid, will never again sit upon a hot stove lid. Nor will he sit on a cold stove lid. Today’s electronic day trader and Mark Twain’s cat have a lot in common– both get more out of the experience than is in it. Beginning with Louis Bachelier's classic 1901 doctoral dissertation Theorie de la Speculation, which developed the mathematical theory of random processes, the financial community has steadily developed a body of evidence supporting the hypothesis that no useful information is contained in the sequence of past changes in stock prices. Current prices reflect all relevant ...

I am inclined to quote the book 'First Break All the Rules'. The book deals with an example on comparing the performance of the best and the least performing sales persons. It comes out with the observations that there are a million reasons for someone not to succeed and handful for one to succeed. It further says that the problems and fears of both the top and bottom performer are sometimes the same like 'being rejected'. Hence, if someone has to avoid each of these millions to get to the right things, it would be an almost impossible task. What is a better strategy is to look at the right things to do and ...
What are some good day trading stratagies? - Yahoo! Answers

So step one is "Use a very small portion of your money". Step two is to watch a stock's behavior over a long period of time. I don't recommend this but why ...
