She moved to Racine County in 1965. Karen was a 1976 graduate of Union Grove High School. She earned bachelor’s degrees from UW-Stevens Point and UW-Parkside. On Wednesday evening, OUSD’s Board Finance and Human Resources Committee considered two draft parcel tax proposals to increase teacher compensation in Oakland. The Committee decided to move toward a November ballot proposal.
