Foreign investments to region plunge
Foreign direct investments (FDI) inflows declined by 26 per cent last year, moving from US$1.43 billion in 2008 to US$1.06 billion in 2009, but remained the highest in the region. The latest data were released Thursday at the global launch of the World Investment Report 2010 at the offices of JAMPRO on Trafalgar Road in New Kingston.
