BobbyGilstrap.com: Automatic Termination of Church Membership?
Should membership in a local church grant you “forever status” in that congregation until you choose to “move your membership” or withdraw? In recent conversation with the several attorneys, it was strongly recommended to me that an automatic termination of membership for nonattendance be included in a church’s constitution and bylaws. This provision would automatically, and without any further action from anyone, remove from the church membership rolls any person who had not been in regular attendance during a designated time. Further, it was recommended to NOT move members in an “inactive” market research, surveys and trends

The Challenge of Hospital Safety: A Success Story
The nurse heard the helicopter before she saw it, appearing abruptly over the tree tops, then settling onto the roof of the UCLA Medical Center. She took the ice chest with the donated liver and rushed to the operating room where the patient, who would not survive without a transplant, was already being prepped for surgery. But when the nurse checked the numbers on the cooler, she saw that they did not match the blood type and other critical factors of the patient. A mismatch is a serious, potentially lethal mistake. Weaver attending few council meetings
SOUTH BEND — When St. Joseph County Council members voted last week on an ordinance requiring the county to buy American-made vehicles, councilman Heath Weaver was absent — a frequent occurrence over the past several months. A lame-duck Democrat representing District H, Weaver has attended only two County Council meetings so far this year and only five in the past 10 months, racking up the worst attendance record by far of any council member. None of the other current council members has missed more than one meeting during that time, and five — Democrats Mike Hamann, Mike Kruk, Rafael Morton and Corey Noland, ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

How can I make the time spent in meetings more effective and ...
There's a bunch of little tactics (like stand up during the meeting) but those are probably not going to give you the overall solution you need. I would recommend looking into SCRUM, it's an agile development model they use in managing software development, specifically look at the way they run the SCRUM meetings. The Daily Scrum Meeting has some set rules: Each day during an active project, a project status meeting occurs. This is called a “daily scrum”, or “the daily standup”. This meeting has specific guidelines: * The meeting starts precisely on time. * All are welcome, but only people ...
