Boy Scouts from as far away as California and Utah were engrossed in weeklong Cedar Badge National Youth Leadership Training in the Teton Canyon and beyond. Sponsored by the Grand Teton Council of Boy Scouts, the program runs for three weeks. The first began June 14, with weekly courses beginning on Mondays and culminating in graduation ceremonies the following Saturday. Scouts completed the second week of Cedar Badge June 26. Boy Scout Troop 550 sponsored by Linthicum Elementary School will honor its newest Eagle Scout, Gary Eurice, at an Eagle Court of Honor and dinner Friday. Eurice joined Scouting in 1998 as a Tiger Cub in Pack 135 in Chase where his family lived. He was away from Scouting for sometime when his family moved to England in 1999. Eurice became interested in karate and was busy with afterschool activities at the British school he attended. When his family returned to the states in 2003, his interest in Scouting was rekindled when his younger brother, Michael Eurice, joined Cub Scouts in 2006.
