Passaic County Community College is offering health care training courses beginning Aug. 2 for the unemployed and entry-level health care workers in an attempt to fill needed positions. In February, the college received a $4.5 million grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to fund the Healthcare Training Initiative at no cost to participants.
