All of the current issues, are just that, current issues.  We always have current ...

Alpha and Omega Movie Trailer | The Star Celeb
What makes for the ultimate road trip? Hitchhiking, truck stops, angry bears, prickly porcupines and a golfing goose with a duck caddy. Just ask Kate and Humphrey, two wolves who are trying to get home after being taken by park rangers and shipped halfway across the country. Humphrey is an Omega wolf, whose days are about quick wit, snappy one-liners and hanging with his motley crew of fun-loving wolves and video-gaming squirrels. Kate is an Alpha: duty, discipline and sleek Lara Croft eye-popping moves fuel her fire. Humphrey’s motto – make ‘em laugh. Kate’s motto – I’m the boss. How to Invest in Turkey -- Seeking Alpha
For a number of years, Istanbul has been given the cold shoulder with respect to joining the elite European Union club and there were feelers that Turkey was believed to be too economically backward to qualify for membership. A visit to Turkey today can clearly suggest that the old argument no longer holds as modern day Turkey is a fast-rising economic power, with a core of internationally competitive companies turning the youthful nation into an entrepreneurial hub, tapping cash-rich export markets in Russia and the Middle East while attracting billions of investment dollars in return. So complete has been Turkey's ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Time to Invest in Commodities? -- Seeking Alpha
in Der Speigel, the price of cocoa reached a 33-year high recently. Anthony Ward, aka “Choc Finger” of the Armajaro Hedge Fund has bought a large number of futures contracts for the delivery of 241,000 tons of cocoa worth $1 billion. That amounts to about 7% of the world annual production. Instead of reselling the contracts, Armajaro took delivery of the beans and now they are stored in warehouses across Europe. From the article: “Cocoa isn’t the only commodity that has become significantly more expensive in recent months. The price of wheat has gone up by 17 percent since April, and soybeans by 12 ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
The Best Fiscal Stimulus: Trust
is driving west along Interstate 10 on a gorgeous Southern California morning. As we pass emerald hillsides, glowing from recent rains, and the snow-blanketed ridges of the San Gabriel Mountains, Zak talks about how standard economics neglects the biological mechanisms of trust that underlie myriad human interactions. “Why people cooperate — why people are altruistic — is a huge question,” he says. “When you think about how much of the world works on a handshake or on holding a door open for somebody in an airport, all that kind of falls through the cracks in economics.” Zak and his collaborators at ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Which option is the better way to invest...passive portfolio ...
I believe the market over the next 4 to 5 years is going to require active portfolio management. I believe we are still in a secular bear market and the market in general will have very lackluster returns until around 2014. In order to make a decent return during that time, you'll need to be over-weight in the industries that perform well during recovery periods. Market timing will still be very difficult as it always is. We'll need to rely on managers at companies like Neuberger Berman to know what industries are better to invest in. posted 11 months ago Instructor at University of Phoenix see all my answers It ...
