My Biggest Loss
I finally covered my SAH position yesterday at 3.55, losing little over 5000$ on this position! I don’t have words to describe how painful it was to lose such a huge amount in one trade. I swear, this is the last time it’s going to happen to me. As my friend sJ keeps suggesting me, from now on, no trade without stop loss in place. Mind you, it’s not that I don’t think SAH will come down [most likely it will start cracking as I have covered]. Looking at the chart, the next major resistance is at 4$/4.20$ and it’s most likely that it will test those levels. I think it was a high time I covered my ... market research, surveys and trends

BLUE COLLAR TRADER - Investment Stock Picks and Information ...
We like to look at ourselves as a unified front. With so many different get rich quick schemes in this business, we provide what is considered to be a sense of solidarity. We look at all aspects of the market; this is important as there are many stocks that are undervalued. What we do is find these stocks that are undervalued that many analysts would deem to be risky and cultivate them. Our primary purpose is to bring to the customer earnings that are higher than any mutual fund could offer. We are honest, never sugar coat information, and will from time to time "let you have it" if you have made a move that doesn't seem ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Anonymous Market Notes
I haven't been trading much these last few open days. Most of my time has been focused on reading and researching. In addition to Golf is Not a Game of Perfect , I would recommend Super Trader as referenced on Kirk's site here . I've gotten started a couple other books, but I'll hold off talking about them until I'm done. Also, I added some poker blogs to the far right column (below that long "sources" list). Those listed here play a wide range of limits and types. Definitely check out a few if that's your thing (probably just Black Bottle, haha). Several times this week I listened to the ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
'Undercover Boss' gives struggling companies stock boost, but it doesn't last ...
The show was a hit, with the highest ratings ever for the premier of a reality series. Viewers loved to watch management fumbling to do blue collar jobs, learning humility, improving the way workers are treated, and providing help to needy and outstanding employees. "Undercover Boss" wasn't just good TV - it was great PR for the companies showcased and for their stocks. In fact, The Wall Street Journal published an article entitled, "Reality Stars Go On to Stock Success," detailing how companies presented on the show mostly beat the market. Noting an upcoming episode featuring 1-800-Flowers , the paper ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

among many other films. Last week he sat down in the Los Angeles offices of his production company, IXTLAN, to talk with me about his recent documentary, South of the Border and his upcoming release Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps --- and the links between the two. Nathan Gardels: As you show in your recent documentary, South of the Border , US diplomacy and the American media have reacted with general hostility to the empowerment of the poor and indigenous in Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay and, to some extent, in Brazil. Why is that? Oliver Stone: I suppose it comes from the old imperial impulse of the US toward Latin ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

10 Questions for Sarah Abrevaya Stein, UCLA International Institute
Ostrich feathers for women's hats were worth nearly as much as diamonds by weight just prior to World War I, when the bubble burst. In "Plumes: Ostrich Feathers, Jews, and a Lost World of Global Commerce" (Yale University Press), a book that resonates with the current financial crisis, UCLA historian Sarah Abrevaya Stein describes a European and American vogue for African feathers from the 1880s and recounts sad tales of a global market crash that struck particularly hard at Jewish merchants. By Kevin Matthews Senior Writer UCLA Today How big was the global market for ostrich feathers in the early 1900s? It was ...

Trader Joe's job application? | Ask MetaFilter
The cashier told me that there was a math section on the application and that I can't take the application home with me. (Thus, no Googling and no calculator.) I am fairly awful at math. Should I be worried? What types of math questions should I expect? How can I best prepare myself? Is there anything else I might do to best ensure that I get hired? And also, I'm curious to hear about positive or negative work experiences at Trader Joe's. I have long wodneered about this great store. I go there often and with each visit, I seldom see the same people working there. The turnover is big. I have wondered why this ...
Chinese trader executed for embezzlement! - Should Wall Street and ...
While this financial crisis had its share ot Bernie Madoff like characters, the great portion of this crisis was not caused by crime. It was caused by a combination of greed and lack of risk education. Many would argue that it's easy to say that after the fact as no one could have seen this crisis coming. That would be an untrue assumption as both the cause of the crisis(excessive debt loads, reckless buying), as well as the potential depression like outcome, were both documented way back beginning in 2003, as debt loads reached historic proportions and personal savings approached zero, while at the same time, the housing ...
