I made an application to rate vendors. I included the next items and, with a weight factor, calculate the overall score. The items are: LEAD TIME regarding to days late or early but also the nuber of missing items (if you need 1 a year and that 1 is late it has more impact than 1 missing on a demand of 10.000). WARANTY based on part number the amount of monny claimed on work and replacement to an overall amount on the vendor OPINION BUYER/EXPEDITING a subjective opinion about the vendor about contact, pro-active attitude and so on.
