Hi Mr Hay. Can you please help me understand something? I keep hearing about commodities (gold, oil, copper, etc) and the huge long-term demand that will come from India/China et al. However, my company 401k plan and my long-time investment advisor at a local bank, don't offer any "commodity" type investment funds/choices as part of my long-term asset allocation plan. Why is this? Are commodity funds just considered too speculative an investment for 401k plans to offer or are there just not than many ways to invest in this area?
