Is Soros trying to collapse the dollar?  As usual, we won’t learn all of the story until after the fact, but all signs are pointing in that direction.  The duck is quacking as I look into the question, is Soros trying to break the buck? The  30 year Treasury auction is in trouble! Last week the U.S. Government came very close to having a “failed” auction of 30 year treasuries.  This would be catastrophic for the value of the dollar and would unhinge the “full faith and credit of the U.S. Government” pledge which is the foundation of the dollar. There are two types of buyers that fund the U.S. debt ...
is the most popular as an investment. Investors generally buy gold as a hedge or safe haven against any economic, political, social or currency-based crises. These crises include investment market declines, burgeoning national debt, currency failure, inflation, war and social unrest. Speculators also buy gold early in a bull market and aim to sell it before a bear market begins, in an attempt to gain financially.
How to Buy Gold – How to Invest in Gold – When to invest in Gold ...
Gold is a popular investment during times of financial turmoil. Over the last few years we have seen gold rise to its highest price in decades. But do don’t be fooled, investing in gold has its drawbacks just like any other investment. It is important to do your homework and make sure you are making the right decision. Gold traditionally moves inversely to the dollar and when the dollar begins to decline in value because of a rough economy, gold usually begins to rally. The problem with the dollar bill is that it isn’t backed by anything of real value. In actuality, it is nothing more than a bunch of numbers and symbols printed ... market research, surveys and trends

Gold to Hit $1500 in 2010, Say Survey Respondents | Gold Investing ...
Perhaps most telling was that nearly 69 percent of respondents said they believe the price of gold will reach $1500 before the end of 2010. This bullish sentiment is most likely supported by the increasing flight-to-safety climate currently taking shape in Europe and North America as investors contemplate the likelihood of a slow economic recovery and the possibility of a double-dip recession. It’s not surprising that such a high percentage of respondents would answer yes when many analysts this past month have been calling for $1500 gold this year or next, including commodities analysts at Citibank , Macquarie Securities , UBS AG industry trends, business articles and survey research
Jim Sinclair Picks $1224 Gold - Investing In Gold
market that I have been telling you was coming.  Make no mistake, this is just a hint of the future volatility that we will see in the price action of gold . If you are a regular reader, you will remember the Chinese “ gold bubble” talk that I mentioned last week.  This resistance at $1,224 plays right into the Chinese plans to acquire more gold for their reserves at a lower price.  They are determined to move out of their excessive dollar holdings and into gold , but they are smart enough to do it at the right price.  The gold action on Friday was exactly what the Chinese wanted to see as a result of their “ industry trends, business articles and survey research
How long will gold's run last?
Prices have soared as investors use the precious metal as a safe haven and for speculation, but opinion is divided over the duration of its rise By Gaurav Ghose, Financial Features Editor Published: 00:00 July 3, 2010 Demand for gold is negatively correlated with confidence in the solvency of the sovereign issuers and uncertainty over currency's inflation or deflation. China's big gold rush
China’s consumption of gold is soaring alongside the price, as the Asian economic superpower and its citizens increasingly turn to the precious metal as a way to diversify their finances. Gold prices have risen so quickly – 11.6 per cent in the last quarter alone and 84 per cent in the past three years – that it is becoming out of reach for some of the world’s jewellery buyers and investors. Yet even at about $1,200 (U.S.) an ounce, Chinese demand from both is soaring. Retail investment demand in China rose 57 per cent in the first quarter of this year from a year ago, while jewellery demand increased 11 ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Question regarding investing in gold? - Yahoo! Answers
If someone were to invest in gold, Who would they sell it to in the far future so that they would not get screwed for there money? 3 weeks ago Member since: May 27, 2009 Total points: 1140 (Level 3) Gold is traded just like many other commodities, there are always people buying and selling gold. Please do not buy gold and keep it with you, if you want to invest in gold go through a reputable broker and buy certificates. Then it will be basically just like buying stock in a company. This way its just like money in a bank. You could in theory go collect on your certificates and get the actual gold, but why would you want that, you ...
Gold is in an uptrend for nine days now. How much longer can this ...
One of the main reasons for my confidence is that gold is still a HATED asset by so-called financial professionals. There was even a top-of the-page article in the business and finance of my local newspaper (less than 10,000 circulation) which said that gold was a bubble. The article quoted many "genius" financial planners who warned the little guy to stay away from gold and to, of course, buy a portfolio of stocks which they would "help" you manage. These are the same "geniuses" who missed the trade of the decade last decade - buy gold, sell stocks. posted 2 months ago Multimedia Producer and i3D Programmer for Acrobat 3D PDF, ...
