Major Trend Direction

Hi, I would like to ask about trend lines. I read that if you draw a trend line you can then draw another line in the same angle creating a sort of channel. So if it is an uptrend line then you draw another line on the top of the graph and the other way around if it is a downtrend line. What I would like to know is how do you pick the spot to start the second line when creating the "channel" because you can get the same angle and all but how do you pick the point so that the signal is not a false one? Thank you Your new duplicated trend line doesn't require a precise point at which to start. You can draw it ...
is a term used to describe the individuals who comprise the workforce of an organization, although it is also applied in labor economics to, for example, business sectors or even whole nations. Human resources is also the name of the function within an organization charged with the overall responsibility for implementing strategies and policies relating to the management of individuals (i.e. the human resources). This function title is often abbreviated to the initials ' HR '. Human resources is a relatively modern management term, coined in the 1960s. The origins of the function arose in organizations that introduced ...

Big Mike's Trading Blog: Trading the bigger picture: Scalper Edition
First, know that I'm a scalper. I just want somewhere between many ticks and a few points on each trade. With one contract, something like $50-100 per trade is fine. Then I throw more contracts at a winning strategy to hit my daily goals. For a very long time, I struggled with looking at the bigger picture. Others were telling me I needed to look at 500 minute charts, 30 minute charts, whatever. Sure I could see huge trend over the course of days, but it was in the past and I couldn't find a way to apply what these charts were showing me. After all, I just need 1 point on my trade, not 10 or 20. I spent all my energy ... market research, surveys and trends

Currency Funds Crushed on Dearth of Market Trends (Update3 ...
July 6 (Bloomberg) -- FX Concepts Inc., the world’s largest currency hedge fund, says it lost 5.4 percent in this year’s first five months. John W. Henry & Co.’s foreign-exchange fund told investors it lost 2 percent, after 2008’s 76 percent gain, the best since its 1986 launching. Both use computer models to spot currency trends and, along with other momentum chasers, are getting hammered by this year’s lack of clear direction as the markets are pulled in opposing directions. IMF Survey: IMF Predicts Major Global Slowdown Amid Financial Crisis
he world economy is decelerating quickly—buffeted by an extraordinary financial shock and by still-high energy and commodity prices—and many advanced economies are close to or moving into recession, the IMF says in its latest World Economic Outlook (WEO). The October 2008 report , which was released two days prior to the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington, said that growth in emerging economies is also weakening after years of strong growth, though it will still drive global growth. Speaking at the WEO press conference, IMF Chief Economist Olivier Blanchard emphasized the importance of implementing joint ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Coaches uncomfortable with trend
BIRMINGHAM — Auburn coach Gene Chizik has noticed the trend in college football recruiting, and he isn’t comfortable with it. Recruiting as become a popular offseason pastime and more information than ever about prospects is a mouse click away. At younger and younger ages, high school athletes are becoming recognized names by college fan bases. And it’s the same for college coaches looking to stay competitive. “It’s backed up to the point now where literally you’re looking at and evaluating sophomores,” Chizik said Friday at Southeastern Conference Media Days. “They’re ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

What major changes do you forecast regarding the Internet shape in ...
My first thought is that there is huge loop in the Internet. It was designed as free medium of sharing free knowledge, then got commercialised, now free culture (creative commons, gnu etc... licensing) makes it free again. In five years we'd have free open source cloud computing tools. But network would be everywhere it's not smartphones only... All devices would have embedded net access like your refrigerator, car, dorknob (imagine authorised access via chip under your skin :) . The other direction would be interfaces - touch screens are old yes, but the idea is to make Internet as intuitively accessible as it can be.
