Many companies have increased employees’ workloads and put a higher priority on productivity since the recession began, according to a MetLife Inc. study released Monday. Is it smarter (in this economy) to pay off my mortgage or to ...
In this Economy it is smarter to be debt free. By Market I assume you mean the Equity Market. I must say I'm surprised by the depth of the recent downturn. I don't believe we ever should have rallied 70% off the 3/09 lows. Especially when all we did was borrow from the future to prop up the present. I have to say I'm not surprised by that rally given the Equity Markets perpetual case of irrational exuberance. Can the Equity Markets rally substantially from here? I think there is a very good chance, but I wouldn't bet my Mortgage on it. posted 1 month ago Desktop / Network / Field Engineer looking for Employer
Currently, I am investing 100% of my 401k in MetLife Stable Value ...
I stopped putting money into Vanguard index fund when it got down to half of what it was when I started my 401k. But I don't know really anything about stable value, but I think it's not supposed to ever lose money. Can that be right? And, I've not seen any gains, either. How can I know if I'm making (or losing) money here? I didn't move any money that was already invested. I only changed future elections. 1 year ago I am not familiar with MetLife funds, but I would imagine that it is a money market fund. They do in general have stable value although there was a very big deal ...
