On my optionsXpress virtual trading platform (along with investopedia) lets me get rid of the position for a small % loss ( stock is @ 109). This seems much better than letting it expire worthless. I must be missing something? i thought the risk of these risky out-of-the-money calls would be to lose everything. Does it work the same way for out of the money puts?
