The rating of a stock directly impacts how well it does on the market, so understanding this ebb and flow can net you quite a bit of significant gain. Doing your own stock investing research can yield quite a bit of knowledge that will let you analyze stock trading trends just as well as any analyst. In order to understand how analysts determine this ebb and flow, I’ll be explaining the process in a simple manner so you can learn how the entire process works. If you are interested in knowing more, there are tons of books ...

5 Reasons Penny Stock Trading Obliterates Forex Trading
The unlimited profit potential in the hugely liquid and leveraged Forex market is pure marketing and deception, designed to lure the most desperate and greediest people into playing a game where the odds of success are very low similar to playing the lottery. If you look at the actual statistics, they point to the vast majority of traders not just blowing up their entire account within a few months, but also owing money due to the easy-to-use leverage. Unless you are illiterate and a complete moron, it is extremely difficult to blow up a penny stock trading account, mainly because the trading rules I teach are very conservative, ... market research, surveys and trends

Dividend Stock Investing – Lessons learnt in recent past | Stock ...
The entire dividend landscape changed during 2008 and 2009, and it was not for the better. There were 288 companies that were forced to cut payouts just during the final quarter of 2008. Standard and Poor’s reported that there were another 804 public companies that followed suit the following year. The cost to investors was an additional $58 billion. Profit With The Power Of Price-To-Earnings
Perhaps one of the most widely-used stock analysis tools is the price-to-earnings ratio, or P/E. This perpetual prophesier of profit has been used for ages by analysts and still remains one of the most relevant pieces of stock valuation. A simple P/E ratio can reveal the stock's real market value and how the valuation compares to its industry group or a benchmark like the S&P 500 Index. Investors will find that an understanding of this financial term is priceless in properly communicating to other investing professionals. What is P/E? Raymond James Strategist Jeff Saut Admits to SEVERE Violation Of Proper Poker
It's well known that there's a big crossover between those in investing/trading and those who like to play cards for money (bridge, blackjack, poker, etc.). In his weekly note, Raymond James strategist Jeff Saut reminisces on his poker days: I am familiar with cards, dice, and betting in general. While in college I supplemented the monthly stipend from my parents with the winnings from playing cards. The bluffing, the betting, the showdown was all great drama to me. Back then I learned the “one chip” rule. To wit, each time I won two chips I would put one of them into my pocket, not to be used again that night. market trends, news research and surveys resources

Investor Tips: Trading in Fast-Moving Markets
The price of some stocks, especially recent "hot" IPOs and high tech stocks, can soar and drop suddenly. In these fast markets when many investors want to trade at the same time and prices change quickly, delays can develop across the board. Executions and confirmations slow down, while reports of prices lag behind actual prices. In these markets, investors can suffer unexpected losses very quickly. Investors trading over the Internet or online, who are used to instant access to their accounts and near instantaneous executions of their trades, especially need to understand how they can protect themselves in fast-moving markets. ... technology research, surveys study and trend statistics

What does "Selling Short" mean in the context of stock trading?
Selling Short means you borrow stock from your broker, sell it and buy it back at some later date (hopefully at a lower price) and replace the stock you borrowed. An example - you think Google stock is going to go down in value in, say, the next 3 months. It's selling for $400/share today. Because you think it'll go down in value, you want to sell it short. By telling your broker you want to sell short you are telling your broker that you want to borrow shares from them to sell. So, you borrow 1000 shares and sell them for $400 each. Now you've got $400,000 (less commissions) and you owe your broker 1000 shares of ...
Tech & Internet Stocks: Penny stocks, penny stock investing ...
I don't have much money to invest, so someone suggested Penny stocks. How do you 1- research and 2- buy Penny stocks? thank you very much john Answer Hi John, That someone is not giving you very good advice.  How much you invest has little to do with the price of the stock you are buying.  If you have $1000 to invest you can buy 1 share of a stock selling at $1000 or 100,000 shares of a stock selling for a penny.  They will both cost you $1000 more or less (commissions may vary).  Which is a better investment?  That depends on the prospects and value of the company NOT ON THE STOCK PRICE!
