Exchange-traded funds: Investing, Alternatives to mutual funds
Few financial products have created as big a stir in recent years as exchange traded funds, or ETFs. Much like the more familiar index mutual funds, ETFs are portfolios of stocks or bonds that track particular market indexes. Unlike mutual funds, however, ETFs trade like stocks. So, for example, you can buy or sell them during the day at that moment's price, rather than wait for the unpredictable end-of-day price on a mutual fund. You can also take advantage of sophisticated trading techniques, such as issuing stop-loss orders ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Ms Gillard confirmed the amendments this morning, slashing the proposed rate from 40 to 30 per cent, saying "we've been stuck on this question as a nation for too long". Afghan wealth stifled by security fears
Afghanistan has enough mineral resources to make it one of the richest mining regions in the world according to Wahidullah Sharani, the Afghan mining minister. The problem is companies remain hesitant about investing in the country whilst the current security issues remain unresolved. The country's mineral deposits are worth between one and three trillion dollars, Mr Sharani says, and he is trying to attract investment to exploit the resources. I'm thinking of investing in a hard wood floor - Brazilian Koa ...
Brazilian Koa, also known as Tigerwood. I'm thinking of getting this installed in a LR, DR, Hall and BR and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it. There is carpet now but I do not want to replace with carpet because of the chemicals. I don't want wool because I seem to have a recurring moth problem. I considered tile and I plan to put it in ...
