Monthly payments are applied to the actual purchase of the vehicle. Once the car is paid off, you're free to do as you please with it. You can keep it for the next ten years or sell it. Buying allows you to keep the vehicle for as long or as short a period as you'd like. Financing a vehicle usually requires a down payment. This can be in the form of cash or a trade-in. Monthly payments are higher than monthly lease payments because they're based on the total cost of the vehicle, not just its depreciation. A typical financing period is 48 to 72 months. After that, you own the vehicle outright with no more payments due.
Electric vehicles first came into existence in the mid-19th century, when electricity was among the preferred methods for automobile propulsion, providing a level of comfort and ease of operation that could not be achieved by the gasoline cars of the time. At one time the internal combustion engine (ICE) had completely replaced the electric drive as a propulsion method for automobiles , but electric power has remained commonplace in other vehicle types, such as trains and smaller vehicles of all types. DETROIT—Toyota Motor Corp. suffered a dramatic drop in a closely watched automotive-quality study, while Ford Motor Co. posted one of the top scores, a reflection of the recent fortunes of two auto makers. The Japanese company’s Toyota brand has been a perennial leader in the J.D. Power & Associates annual Initial Quality Survey. But in the 2010 study, Toyota was rated below average and trailed several U.S. nameplates it has traditionally bested, including Ford, Cadillac, Chevrolet and Lincoln. Ford, which has risen steadily for the last several years, was ranked fifth overall, and was topped only by four luxury ... market research, surveys and trends

As auto prices and financing costs increase, auto leases, rather than purchases, have been more actively advertised and marketed by the auto industry. Leasing a vehicle is not simply a 'different' way to buy a vehicle - leasing a vehicle means that you are renting the vehicle long-term with specific obligations, benefits and liabilities contained in the lease agreement. Lease terms are advertised because the low down payment and comparatively low monthly payments make new vehicles affordable but not necessarily the best or most cost effective option. I have to be 18 yrs old to lease? ? - Yahoo! Answers
hahaha sorry that isnt going to happen. Those cars cost a lot to insure and any 16 year old cant afford it with the kind of jobs they can get. When you lease, the car still belongs to the car dealer. They are letting you borrow the car and you cant have any accidents, scratches or ANY damage. You would also have to be 18 to enter any legal contracts. even 18 year olds cant afford to lease those kind of cars and why not just go to college and buy one after you graduate and can actually afford to own one?
