USA Volleyball has instituted the "Stay to Play" policy for its national championship. They have contracted with THS a housing service to go into the location of the championship and contract with local hotels to provide the rooms for their participants. We are required to book our hotel rooms though THS even though we may not like the accomodations they have. USAV receives a kick back from each room night-($15) generating between $300,000 and $500,000 for USAV. The hotels are required to pay THS a commission rate of 10% for the rooms as well.
