One crash parts bill in California has died on the vine, while another is being held over in committee until the legislature returns from its summer break. Senate Bill 350, which was supported by the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) but opposed by insurers, was not taken up by the California Assembly Committee on Business, Professions and Consumer Protection.
