magazine released its 8th Annual Technology Survey. Both surveys reveal that technology, particularly tools that use the Internet, are significantly increasing the productivity of lawyers and paralegals. FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Ten months after Amanda Ross was gunned down outside her downtown Lexington townhouse, a new domestic violence law inspired by the state worker’s death will take effect Thursday. Notices of Noncompliance were mailed out to those attorneys who have not complied with the education and reporting requirements of Gov. Bar Rule X for the 2010 reporting period. Attorneys and Judges may avoid sanction for noncompliance by filing evidence demonstrating compliance. Evidence of compliance must be submitted in writing to the Commission postmarked on or before May 31, 2010 .
