I forgot to pay a speeding ticket I was issued last summer (my one and only ever in 20 years of driving), and was pulled over a few days ago due to my license plate being obscured by a faded plastic cover. Found out my license had been suspended in Maryland due to nonpayment of the speeding ticket. I reside in Maryland but was pulled over in Virginia, so my license was not confiscated, but I was not allowed to drive until the suspended license issue was taken care of. I took care of the ticket the next day and got my license reinstated, but was told that I could actually be put in jail over this after I go to court for driving ...
